July 29 at 8:00 am - August 1 at 5:00 pm
**REGISTRATION WILL GO LIVE ON FEBRUARY 1ST AT 8 AM!**
Grades 6th-8th
Ever notice a path in the woods that was too small to be made by humans? The forest is an intersecting highway for many animals we rarely see. Bears, snakes, deer, and raccoons are clever creatures that navigate the park virtually unseen. Join us this summer as we use various tools and tricks to reveal the identity of our forest friends. Learn how to mount and monitor a wild game camera, create a track trap, and identify game trails as we track down the animals of Dogwood Canyon! We’ll dive into the biology and adaptations of the Ozark’s crafty critters in this forest EdVenture!
** This camp is located at Dogwood Canyon in Lampe, Missouri. Students will be shuttled to and from Wonders of Wildlife each day for pickup and drop off. For drop-off/pick-up accommodations, please reach out to edu@wondersofwildlife.org upon registration.
