Grades 6th-8th
Discover the world of conservation work and learn to protect our planet from home and as a future career. Campers will explore the park on a variety of field activities including wildlife and habitat surveys like stream monitoring, bird song ID, and phenology. We’ll meet with professionals from other departments around the park and participate in service projects like stream cleanups, invasive species removal and bird box maintenance. This camp will expose students to career opportunities and provide valuable field experience to begin their journey as an advocate for the natural world.
** This camp is located at Dogwood Canyon in Lampe, Missouri. Students will be shuttled to and from Wonders of Wildlife each day for pickup and drop off. For drop-off/pick-up accommodations, please reach out to edu@wondersofwildlife.org upon registration.
