An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Tuesday and Saturday, repeating until May 23, 2023

Venture off the pavement into the quiet parts of Dogwood Canyon as we explore the habitat where Little Indian Creek and Table Rock Lake meet. Join us as we take to the stream in a leisurely wildlife kayaking tour, with opportunities to see Bald Eagle and Great Blue Heron nest sites. Together we will view an area of the park not commonly seen by visitors. Depending on water levels, this tour may include a short hike. Reservations required, not included with park admission.

On the day of your adventure:

  • Bring your own water safe shoes. This could include Chacos (or something similar), old sneakers, or closed toed water shoes. Keep in mind there will be a 1/2-mile hike at the end of the tour to get back to the parking lot.
  • There will not be any dry storage provided. We recommend packing as few personal items as possible. Guests are permitted to bring their own dry bags.
  • Lastly, we recommend that guests bring a dry change of clothes and shoes for after the tour.

Participants must be 8+ years old and weigh no more than 250 pounds.

Other Notes: Be aware, this tour can be canceled at any time due to weather. In this case, you will be notified with the contact information you provide.

Participants 14 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a supervising companion over the age of 18.
