There is a direct line of human technology, from 2.3 million years ago when our earliest ancestors banged rocks to make cutting tools, to the dizzyingly rapid advances in our modern world.  Join survival Instructor/naturalist Bo Brown to explore the humble beginnings of the technologies that allowed our species to survive and thrive.

See demonstrations of flint knapping, friction fire, cordage, the atlatl, (our earliest compound weapon) and exhibit/discussion of other tools, weapons and clothing employed by our prehistoric ancestors.
