Grades 3rd-5th

Slither along the streambanks, creep through the forest floor, and delve into the depths of a cave as we search for reptiles and amphibians that call Dogwood Canyon home! We will immerse ourselves into the habitats of herptiles, learn about their life cycles and diets, and investigate how to identify them through fun games and hands-on meet-and-greets with live critters. By the end of this camp, you’ll be able to name frogs by their calls, know the differences between salamanders and lizards, and learn why snakes should be respected, not feared.

*** This camp is located at Dogwood Canyon in Lampe, Missouri. Students will be shuttled to and from Wonders of Wildlife each day for pickup and drop off. For drop-off/pick-up accommodations, please reach out to edu@wondersofwildlife.org upon registration.
